Procedure for Applying for State Certification Exam

One must apply for Utah CNA certification exam to achieve a CNA license in Utah following the completion of a training program.

Candidates are required to go through skills test and written test. Required to perform 5 randomly-selected skills in addition to vital signs and hand washing in 20-30 minutes (duration varies depending upon the skills assigned), skills test assesses candidates’ conceptual nursing understanding.
