Transferring a Out of State CNA License to South Dakota
In order to transfer a CNA license from another state to South Dakota, the process is relatively simple. The first step is to ensure that the CNA license is active and in good standing with the issuing state. Once this has been confirmed, the CNA simply needs to fill out the endorsement application and send one part to the SD Nurse Aide Registry and another another part to your home state’s registry. Upon receipt of these forms, the SD Department of Health will process the application and issue a new CNA license if all requirements have been met.
