How to Renew Your CNA License In Idaho?

How to Verify Your CNA License in Idaho?

Transferring a out of State CNA License to Idaho

To transfer you license to Idaho, the first thing you should do is contact the registry that issues the licenses for certified nursing aides in that state. The registry will ask you to do three things.

First, you must provide them with some proof of your current credentials. Second, they will ask you to request a certificate of reciprocity that verifies reciprocity between your state of current education and license and Idaho’s reciprocity to those states.

Third, if you have been certified in the past but not recently, you’ll need the approval to test letter, which tells the Idaho nurse aide registry that you do not need to renew your certification but you are in good standing and can take the board exam.
