Comply with the KDHE regulations and handover few papers that can show you have completed the course, and accept the background check. If you are booked for any criminal charges, then you will not qualify for the exam. In such case, you can receive clarification from the Kansas Health Occupations Credential Department.

You will have some time to prepare for the exam. The State Nurse Aide Registry will inform you about the exam date and venue. Meanwhile, the Kansas State allows you to get hands-on experience by working in any nursing homes before you take the exam. However, registered nurses should supervise your work.

Be ready to take practical and written tests. Practice by solving the dummy question paper with help of a CNA exam guide. Try to secure more than 70% in the exam to obtain the certification. You will receive the certification in four to six weeks time if you have passed.
