Christine Ritchie

Christine Ritchie has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and later returned to earn her Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She has always had a passion for helping people, which was evident through her work in ICU department, Emergency Department RN/MD Assistant, critical care transport team leader and managing clinical staff at Stroger Hospital. Christine’s experience allowed her to see that the existing system needed change because it wasn’t designed with nurses’ needs in mind. She found Top Nurse to share her knowledge and experience with new comer nurses as well as those who are looking for advice on how to advance their career in the medical field. Christine’s goal is to help others succeed by sharing what she has learned along her journey through nursing school and beyond. She loves spending time with her family, but also likes to take pictures on their adventures together.
